Private Instruction

If you want to become an astrologer yourself, this is for you. It is no joke, though, you will have to dedicate yourself and study hard. I offer instruction for beginners and for intermediate students in astrology. Each course consists of 8 hour-long sessions, one-to-one over instant messaging, with study material and testing.

I am publishing a series entitled Authentic Astrology. The first two volumes of this series are published and available in real and electronic format. I plan to release at least five volumes for this series this year.

As for my main book concerning astrology as a universal system of self-help, self-guidance and spiritual philosophy - I am about halfway through the second draft of it. I expect it to be finished around May of 2011. It will, I hope, interest and delight everyone from the curious to the expert.

Videos

I do a video series which I call "Authentic Astrology with Vic DiCara." I try to do a new episode each month, but during this year of intense and concentrated writing, that is not always possible. I try to make them visually nice and as easy to follow as possible.

With these, I hope to freely educate people about the practice and the true merit of astrology. Plus, it's sort of fun to do! Sometimes I cover basic topics, sometimes not so basic.

Another attempt of mine to freely provide people with valuable information: I keep a very active blog of articles about astrology and philosophy.

Between the articles and videos you can learn a ton about astrology and life. But if you want to really go deep into it, you should spring for the guided, private instruction. If that is too big a leap, you should avail yourself of the books and manuals I've published.

Me

I was initiated into Vedic spiritual culture in 1992, in India. In 1994 my guru awarded me the symbolic thread of the brahmin, signifying aptitude in the role of a councilor, philosopher and guide.

I have been an author since the age of 15. And a professional musician since I was 17. I have written and published in over a dozen magazines, etc. And have recorded almost a dozen records in my musical career. I lived as a celibate yogi in an ashram for 8 years, studying Vedic philosophy and the culture of Vedic astrology.

I began offering astrological consultation to the public in 2007. I don't believe much in stamps of approval from official institutions and organizations, but am very happy that my clients keep returning to me very satisfied - and that my peers and mentors are very appreciative and supportive of my efforts.
